Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Jerry Marcil has 15 years of experience as a mental health and substance abuse/addictions counselor in a variety of settings including the workplace and private practice. He has worked with individuals, couples, and families who are in crisis due to a variety of issues including addiction, stress, grief and loss as well as employment issues including DOT drug testing.
Jerry’s approach is practical and based on the belief that every individual has the ability to heal and recover in their own unique way. Jerry believes in meeting the client where the client is… mentally, emotionally and spiritually… with empathy in a healing environment. These goals are accomplished by employing a number of evidence based modalities including Motivational Enhancement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and 12-Step Facilitation.
Jerry is also a trained interventionist with the knowledge and expertise to assist those suffering from the disease of substance abuse/addiction to access affordable, quality, caring inpatient treatment.
CADC, SAP, Intervention Specialist
Sean Marcil is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) through the state of Connecticut. He began his time with CCW in 2013 as an intern studying in the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling (DARC) program at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Upon completion he pursued his Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a focus on clinical counseling at Post University. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree at Western Connecticut State University in the field of clinical mental health counseling.
As a recent graduate and continuing student, he is constantly being exposed to new ideas in counseling theory. He believes firmly in a strength-based, motivational approach to substance abuse treatment. He is available for both group and individual counseling.

Kelly Mangan is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Kelly has worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 13 years. She has experience in working with youth and adults that suffer from ADHD/ODD, PTSD, spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, involvement in the legal system and domestic violence. Kelly also has experience in family therapy couples therapy and trauma. Kelly has extensive training with crisis intervention and applied behavior analysis and also has experience with intensive in-home services, inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. Kelly has a strengths based approach to therapy.
